 is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to improve laboratory animal welfare through quality education, training and science. We provide insight into emerging areas of animal research, guidance on experimental design and arrange education and training throughout Asia. Working with scientists, educators, government and industry, our goals are to; advocate animal use only when scientifically justified and absolutely necessary; Replace animal use whenever possible; Reduce animal use to the absolute minimum for valid robust research, and Refine procedures to the levels whereby meaningful progress is made in medical research with minimal impact on animal welfare.
